PLEASE READ THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS CAREFULLY.
Access to all of KnowledgeOne's online services and products is provided on the
condition that users have read and agreed to abide by the following set of Terms
and Conditions. The Terms and Conditions are designed to inform users about what
they may and may not do with the content provided to them as part of their
registration. If you have any questions or need any further explanation
concerning KnowledgeOne's terms and conditions, please send an e-mail to
helpdesk@knowledgeone.ca with your inquiries.
Permitted Use
A registered user may make unlimited use of the online content,
including: display and view information, download, print or e-mail content that
the user is registered for, for the purposes of research or private study and
not for commercial use.
Prohibited Use
The registered user will be given a personal username and password for the
purpose of gaining access to the online course(s). Users must not, under any
circumstance, transmit such information to any other individual(s) in an attempt
to bypass the registration or purchasing procedures for any of KnowledgeOne's products.
Any violation of this license will result in the termination of the user's
account without any refund.
Service Availability
KnowledgeOne shall accept no liability if access is suspended or interrupted or a
fault or defect occurs which prevents access to its servers. KnowledgeOne will do its
best to provide uninterrupted access to its online products. KnowledgeOne reserves the
right to refuse access to any user(s) at any time.
Liability
Although KnowledgeOne has taken reasonable care to ensure that course information,
data and other material made available online is error-free, it accepts
no responsibility for corruption to the information, data and other material
thereafter, including but not limited to any defects caused by the transmission
or processing of the information, data and other material. KnowledgeOne will not be
liable for any problem related to any network or technical malfunction of
computer equipment, software, or traffic congestion on the Internet, or failure
of e-mail, or member accounts.
Refund Policy
Requests for refunds must be made in writing and must
meet the conditions listed below.
I. COURSE TYPE:
A full refund will be issued to users who withdraw from the course and
request a refund by the third week from the date of their payment on the receipt
or the date they received their confirmation from KnowledgeOne.*
*If the user paid at KnowledgeOne's office, the user is given a receipt with his
or her username and password. If the user paid online, an e-mail confirmation
with username and password is sent upon payment.
II. PAYMENT TYPE:
A. FOR ONLINE PAYMENTS:
Please send an e-mail to refund@knowledgeone.ca. Information to be included in the e-mail:
- Full name (first name and last name)
- User ID
- Receipt number (e.g. 1000-ONC-4556544)
- Course you wish to obtain a refund for
- Reason for refund
- Telephone number
If the refund is approved, you will be refunded on the credit card used for the payment.
B. OTHER PAYMENT METHODS:
If you paid in person at our office (debit card, credit card, certified cheque, money order), please send an e-mail to refund@knowledgeone.ca including the following information:
- Full name (first name and last name)
- User ID
- Receipt Number (e.g.: 1000-OFC-4556544)
- Telephone number
- Mailing address to be used to send the refund cheque
- Course you wish to obtain a refund for
- Reason for refund
If the refund is approved, a cheque will be issued and will be sent by mail to the specified address.
